Geneva Louise "Nanny" Jones

Geneva Louise "Nanny" Jones, age 79, of Kirby, died Thursday, March 28, 2013. She was born on August 3, 1933, at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, the daughter of Oscar Benson Walker and Bertha Miranda Burge Walker. On October 5, 1951, she was married to Wayne Jones. She deeply loved and cherished each and every member of her family and her extended family. She is survived by her husband, Wayne Jones of Kirby; three children, Larry Jones of Gravette, Gina Vaughn of Glenwood and David Jones of Kirby; four grandchildren, Nicky Berry, Brandon Vaughn, Rachel Jones and Tyrel Vaughn; one great-grandson, James Wayne Berry; her grandchildren of the heart, and their children, Britany Smedley and her daughters, Addison and Kinley, Brandy Rhodes and her daughters, Emily and Abby, and Brady Epperson; and two sisters, Bessie Lee Hazlewood of Choctaw, Oklahoma and Edith Gallner of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, March 30, 2013, in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Glenwood with Bro. J. B. Evans officiating. Visitation will be held Friday, 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Interment will be in the Ebenezer Cemetery under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood. Pallbearers will be Danny Walker, Freddy Hazlewood, Joey Jones, Jay Jones, Tyrel Vaughn, Ronnie Post and Billy Walker. Guest registry is at www.davis-smith.com.
