Geneva Mae Morrison

Geneva Mae Morrison, 76, of Friendship, Arkansas, met The Lord Friday, August 11, 2023, at Nightingale Nursing and Rehab in Arkadelphia, Arkansas.

She was born September 24, 1946, in Friendship to Clayton E. Morrison and Aldena L. Tucker-Morrison.

Geneva was a music lover who was happiest when she was around children.  She attended Friendship Missionary Baptist Church. She also attended Group Living in Arkadelphia.

She had been disabled since the age of seven months, thus she had to overcome many challenges.

Geneva was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers: Dayton, Kenneth and James Morrison; her sisters: Bonnie and Sue Wells and her nephews: Scottie and Jimmy Lyn Wells and David Morrison and her brothers-in-law: Donald and Jimmy Wells and Willard Thomason.

Left to cherish her memory are her siblings: Estelene Thomason, Roy (Bonnie) Morrison, Paul (Wilma) Morrison, Junior (Brenda) Morrison, Donald (Marilyn) Morrison, Patsy (Randall) Tarkington and Bobby Morrison; her sisters-in-law: Jane and Delaine Morrison and a host of nieces and nephews.

A visitation for family and friends will be held Friday, August 18, 2023, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Ruggles Wilcox Funeral Home in Arkadelphia.

Geneva’s funeral service will be held Saturday, August 19, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home.

Burial will follow at Gilchrist Cemetery near Friendship.

Pallbearers will be Stacey, Jeremy, Jody, Corey and Tonya Morrison, Dustin Burnett and Tim Wells.
