George "Eugene" Allison, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, went to be with the Lord on December 6, 2025, at the age of 66. Born on October 21, 1959, in Little Rock, Arkansas, Eugene’s life was one of dedication, service, and love for his family and community.

Eugene worked for many years at Affiliated, where he demonstrated his strong work ethic and commitment to excellence. Throughout his life, he carried a deep sense of responsibility and integrity that touched everyone around him.

A faithful member of Ironton Baptist Church, Eugene served as a deacon, embodying his belief in service and community. He actively supported his wife, Evelyn, in various ministries, including the Operation Christmas Child Shoebox project with Samaritan's Purse and contributions to the Food Pantry. His heart was generous, and he always sought to uplift those in need.

Eugene's love for traveling was evident in the numerous trips he organized, which he documented through photographs that adorned his office wall. His passion for travel allowed his family many cherished vacations, particularly to Disney, where he meticulously planned every detail to create unforgettable memories. Not only a devoted family man, Eugene was also the coordinator for Golden Travelers, leading a group of friends in their adventures.

Eugene’s involvement extended beyond leisure as he participated in several mission and youth trips, reinforcing his dedication to educating and inspiring younger generations. Known for his planning prowess and preference to lead, he infused joy into every endeavor he undertook.

In addition to his love of travel, Eugene had a keen interest in antiques, engaging in buying and selling them as a hobby. He was a man of many talents, relishing sports in all forms and taking pride as an avid fan of the Razorbacks.

Family was Eugene's greatest blessing. He was a devoted husband to his loving wife of 44 years, Evelyn Allison, of Sheridan, Arkansas. He treasured his two daughters, Brittany Walker and her husband Chris of Sheridan, Arkansas, and Brooke Flewelling and her husband Silas of Vassalboro, Maine. Eugene adored his granddaughters, Bryleigh Walker, Isabel Walker, Rosemary Flewelling, and eagerly anticipated the arrival of a new baby girl Flewelling. Each moment spent with them was sacred, and he believed they truly hung the moon, ensuring that his family cherished their time together.  Eugene also leaves behind his father, George Allison of Little Rock, Arkansas, and his brother, Randall Allison of Little Rock, Arkansas. He is also remembered fondly by many relatives and friends whose lives he touched, all of whom will carry his memory in their hearts.

Eugene was preceded in death by his mother, Birdie Allison.

His legacy of love, kindness, and dedication to family and community will live on in the memories of all who knew him.
