George Charles Benck, II, of Beebe, Arkansas, was born May 16, 1945, and he died December 26, 2008. He is survived by his wife, Starlene Benck; his mother, Veldean Wondell Benck; children, George C. Benck, III (Marinna) of Conway, Donald Benck of Imperial, Missouri, Denise Taylor of Potosi, Missouri, Michelle Rutledge (John) of Yazoo City, Mississippi and Tricia Kos (Jim) of St. Peters, Missouri; nine grandchildren; and siblings Richard Krah, William Krah, Garnett Vance and Donita Rogers, all of Imperial, Missouri.
He was preceded in death by his father, George C. Benck, Sr. and one grandchild, Kimberly Benck.
Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday, December 29, 2008, at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Visitation will also be held from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Thursday at Fey Funeral Home, St. Louis, Missouri. Funeral will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, January 2, 2009 at Fey Funeral Home, with burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery, St. Louis.
Memorials may be made to National Kidney Foundation, 30 E. 33rd St., New York, NY 10016.
