George Dewain Bloom, age 79, of Arkadelphia, died Saturday, August 6, 2011 in Hot Springs. He was born April 25, 1932 in Allegan, Michigan and was a retired machinist and mechanic.
Survivors include daughters, Jo Slaughter and husband, Bill, Billie Murphy and husband, Bob all of Arkadelphia, Arkansas Debra Uhrich of Dardanelle, Arkansas; and their mother, Helen Smith of Arkadelphia, Arkansas; two grandchildren, Rain Slaughter, Justin Slaughter and his fiancé, Susie Kirk.
Funeral services will be at 3:00 PM Tuesday, August 9th at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home with burial will be in Rest Haven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 2:00 PM Tuesday until service time at the funeral home.
