George Edward Myers, 73 a beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, passed away on Friday, May 23rd, 2025.  He was born on December 4th, 1951 in Danville, AR, but was raised in Little Rock.  

He is preceded in death by his parents Bob J and Pauline W. Myers. He is survived by his wife Joyce Myers, daughters; Mary Womack (Brad), Paula York (Michael) and son, Kyle Myers as well as a sister Peggy and brother Kevin (Ann), four granddaughters and one grandson and great-grandchildren, step-children; Robert Clawson (Kari), Pamela Hancock, Suzanne Gibson (Jesus), James Lee Glover and five step-grandchildren.

George was a Navy Veteran and was in the National Guard  He graduated from the University of Arkansas in 1977 with a degree in Business Administration. He retired 27 1/2 years later as a bank examiner.  He then worked an additional 10 years with the Arkansas Division of Workforce Services as a Field Tax Representative.  

George loved his family, friends, listening to music, going to the movies, the theater, singing in the choir, acting, karaoke and cruising on the ships of Royal Caribbean.  

While George may no longer be with us, he will certainly not be forgotten.  

A Visitation will be held on Friday, May 30th at 10:00 a.m., followed by a Funeral at 11:00 a.m. at Cornerstone Church of the Nazarene in Bryant, Arkansas.  Burial will be later that day at Brearley Cemetery in Dardanelle, Arkansas.
