George Edward Jordan

George Edward Jordan, age 75, of Glenwood, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, May 30, 2026.

He was born on July 13, 1950 in Horatio. George was the son of Tom Jordan and Alta Vance Jordan. He was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Jordan; his brother, Arthur Jordan; his two grandchildren, J.D. Hughes and Kaci Jordan; and his great-granddaughter, Nova Jordan.

George was a Christian in his faith. He loved reading his Bible, praying, and most of all spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. George was a loving husband, father, poppa, brother, uncle, and friend and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his wife of four years, Pat Jordan of Glenwood; his three sons and daughters-in-law, Eddie and Annette Jordan of Dierks, Thomas and Cindy Jordan of Amity, and Russell and Cristi Jordan of Colorado City, TX; his nine grandchildren; his thirteen great-grandchildren; his brother and sister-in-law, Tommy and Jimmye Lou Jordan of DeQueen; and many loving nieces, nephews, extended family members, and a host of wonderful friends.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Home- Glenwood.
