George L. Watkins, 67, of Little Rock (East End) passed away Wednesday, March 7, 2007. He was a retired electrician with the Little Rock School District.
He is survived by his wife, Gladys Watkins; son, Phillip Watkins and wife, Laurie; three grandchildren, Matthew, Nathan and Melinda Watkins; three step grandchildren, Robby, Justin and Lindsey Jones, all of East End; two brothers, Carl Watkins, of East End and Ira Watkins, of Redfield; and sister, Betty Hicks, of East End. He was preceded in death by his parents, Schirschle and Clara Mae Watkins and a sister, Emma Palmer.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M., Friday at North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 5:30 to 7:00 P.M., Thursday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St., 758-1170. Online obituary and guest register at www.northlittlerockfuneralhome.com.
