Gerald Osterman, 94, of Little Rock, passed away August 12, 2015. Born in Whitensville, Massachusetts to Greitsen and Eva VanDermeer Oosterman, he was a 1942 graduate of Penn State and a chemical engineer for Monsanto.
Preceded in death by his parents and his wife of 67 years, Irma Katherine Osterman, he is survived by his daughters, Shirley Love of Little Rock, Peggy Bowen (Johnny) of Westfork and Katherine Flewelling (William) of Proctor, West Virginia; sister, Gladys Foster of Melrose, Massachusetts; brother, Henry Oosterman of Connecticut; nine grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Services will be held on Monday, August 17 at 2:00 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.), officiated by Rev. William Flewelling.
