Gerald S. Wimberly, 54, of North Little Rock, passed away Thursday, March 6, 2008. He was a member of Gardener Memorial United Methodist Church in North Little Rock. Mr. Wimberly was employed for over 35 years for the North Little Rock School District, West Campus.
He is survived by his wife, Mary L. Wimberly; a daughter, Lisa D. Wimberly Bratchelar of North Little Rock; a son, Gerald L. Wimberly and Ashley of Mt. Vernon, Illinois; one granddaughter, Briylie Nikole Wimberly of Mt. Vernon; nine brothers; and three sisters; mother-in-law, Thelma Menard of North Little Rock.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Earnest and Vallie Mae Wimberly; one brother; and one sister.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday at North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Arkansas Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Sunday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main, 758-1170. Online obituary and guest register at www.nlrfh.com.
