Gerry Dee Bailey

Gerry Dee Bailey, 82, of Shannon Hills, Arkansas, formerly of Fort Wayne, Indiana and born and grew up in the Berne, Indiana area, made his final trip on January 10, 2024.

Gerry was born on June 26, 1941 to Blaine and Bette (Bauserman) Bailey.  He spent his career doing sales work and the last years he started and grew Doc’s Locks in Fort Wayne, Indiana and  in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Gerry was an active member of the Rock Riders of Little Rock and the Son Rise Riders of Fort Wayne, both chapters of the Christian Motorcycle Association.  He was an enthusiastic participant in the annual Run For The Son. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, Blaine and Bette Bailey and Gerry’s daughter, Michelle.  He is survived by his wife, Judy Keeley Bailey, daughter Betsy Bailey (Paul) Tacker, Fort Wayne, IN, son Tim Bailey, step daughter Gini Holladay, step son Bobby Joe Morgan,  brother Dane (Christina) Bailey, Huntington, IN as well as grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A memorial service will held to celebrate Gerry at the North Little Rock Assemblies of God Church, 4501 Burrow Dr., North Little Rock, Arkansas on January 25, 2024 with visitation at 1:00 PM and the service at 2:00 PM. 

There will be a memorial service at a later date in Fort Wayne, IN celebrating Gerry’s life.
