Gertrude Spann, 89, of East End, died Wednesday, May 24, 2017. She was born June 18, 1927, the second child of four sisters and four brothers. Preceded in death by her husband, Troy, she is survived by one daughter, Linda Barger (Johnny); two grandsons, one granddaughter, and four great-grandchildren. She had been a resident at Brookdale Chenal Heights for three years and was treated as family by so many people, especially Jana, Lauren, Debbie as well as Kindred Hospice.
Graveside services are Tuesday, May 30 at 1:00 p.m. at Salem Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Arkansas Children's Hospital, NICU, 1 Children's Way, Little Rock, AR 72202 or to Salem Cemetery.
