Gladys "Morene" O'Kelley, 78, of Little Rock, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 24, 2012. She was born February 22, 1934 in Lynn, Arkansas and was a member of Martindale Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Rhonda Kay; parents, Earl and Edna Richmond; brother, Daryl; and sister-in-law, Peggy. She is survived by her loving and supportive husband of 59 years, 1 month and 13 days, Gerald; sons, Danny (Mona) of Quitman, Michael (Laura) of Little Rock and Steve (Susan) of Hensley; eight precious grandchildren, Kevin, Danielle (Ben), Chad (Haylee), Stephanie (Rocky), Ross (Sally), Shannon, Clint and MaryEllen; and five great-grandchildren, Megan, Ethan, Landree, Elijah and Everett. She is also survived by her brothers, Harold (Josephine) and Kenny.
Services will be held on Saturday, October 27 at 10:00 a.m. at Martindale Baptist Church, 18900 Colonel Glenn Rd., officiated by Rev. Larry Walters. Visitation will precede the service at the church, beginning at 9:00 a.m. The graveside service will follow at 2:30 p.m. at Heard Cemetery in Bradford. Memorials may be made to Martindale Baptist Church.
