Gladys Styers, 92, of North Little Rock passed away Tuesday, February 27, 2007. She was one of the last surviving charter members of the First Assembly of God Church in North Little Rock.
She is survived by her daughter, Sue Mitchell, of North Little Rock; daughter-in-law, Joan Styers, of Sherwood; six grandchildren, Steve Styers, of Lakeland, Florida, Cheryl Hudmon, of Kissimmee, Florida, Becky Lindsey, of Sherwood, Keith (Janet) Styers, of Wye Mountain, Arkansas, Jason (Alicia) Mitchell, of Sherwood and Michelle (Michael) Lee, of North Little Rock; nine great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Carl Styers, Sr.; two sons, Joseph Carl Styers, Jr. and Billy Ray Styers; two sisters and two brothers.
Memorials may be made to First Assembly of God Church, North Little Rock.
Graveside service will be held 1:00 P.M., Friday at Edgewood Memorial Park. Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Thursday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St., 758-1170. Online obituary and guest register at www.northlittlerockfuneralhome.com.
