Glen Carter

Glen Thomas Carter, age 83, of North Little Rock, Arkansas went to be with his heavenly Father on August 7, 2017. He was born on January 10, 1934 in Romance, Arkansas to the late Clarence and Della Carter. He is preceded in death by two brothers, Harold and Wayne; four sisters, Marie, Maxine, Billie Jo, Mary Vaughn and his beloved first wife of 44 years, Marion. Survivors include three daughters, Phylis Pettit (David), Donna Fuller (Bobby), Carol Carter; four grandchildren, Carrie Osburn (Shane), Joseph Fuller, Michael Fuller and Jessica Fuller; four great-grandchildren, Dennis Brooks, Dayton Brooks, Julia Osburn and Maddy Faye Osburn. Glen is also survived by his loving and devoted wife of 17 years, Roberta; two sons, Steve Powell (Sharon), Greg Powell (Nancy); four grandchildren, Justin Vanlandingham (Anne Katherine), Molly Vanlandingham, Hayden Powell and Hayley Powell.
Glen's family would like to thank Dr. Frits VanRhee and Dr. Aniel House for their wonderful care.
Funeral service will be at 10:00 am Friday, August 11, 2017 at Park Hill Baptist Church, 201 East C, NLR with Dr. Ken Shaddox officiating. Burial with full military honors will be at noon at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery, 1501 W. Maryland, Sherwood, AR. Visitation will be Thursday, August 10, 2017 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the church.
