Glenda Monique Covey

With hearts both heavy and grateful, we remember and honor the life of Glenda Monique Covey, who left this world to live with her Lord and Savior on August 21, 2026. Glenda was born on May 11, 1973 in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Glenda was retired from the United States Postal Service. She was a proud member of Gospel Light Baptist Church. But most of all Glenda was a wife, a mother and a friend.

Glenda leaves behind her loving husband, Brady Covey, her cherished daughter Meghan Galloway (Ty) and her beloved sons Matthew Galloway, Cortlin Covey (Hayden) and Dalton Covey,

Granddaughter Emberly Covey and Grandson Emmett Covey. Also cherishing her memory are her in laws Allen and Rita Michau and Sandy Covey. She also leaves behind many family and friends who will miss her dearly. Glenda loved her family completely but the love of her life was her dog Duke.

Glenda is preceded in death by the man she loving called “Pops”, her father in law Brady “PeeWee” Covey and her parents Glen and Judy Peake.

Glenda loved life. And she loved sharing life with those she loved and strangers alike. She was a great friend and loved immensely. She was the light of Jesus in the lives of many.

Glenda loved adventures, especially sharing them with Brady and Duke. She loved traveling, camping and motorcycle rides, anywhere on the water and shopping. She was a great cook and loved feeding everyone.

Please join us for a celebration of Glenda’s life on Friday, August 28 th at 3 p.m. at Smith Family Funeral Home in Hot Springs, Arkansas.

Glenda’s earthly journey may have reached its close but her memory will live on.
