Glenda Hicks

Glenda Jeanetta "Nammer" Carver Hicks, of Jacksonville, passed from this life on Monday, October 23rd, 2017 in Little Rock. She was born in Steele, Missouri to the late William and Mattie (Ramey) Carver on July 27, 1937.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eddie Hicks, whom she married on the 21st of November 1978. She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Lawanda Ruth Stinchcomb, Fawn Ballentine, Shirley Sue Fitch, Minnie Lou Johnson, Evelyn Stark and Joyce Laverne Watkins; two brothers, Troy Gene Carver and Billy Carver, Jr. She is survived by her sister, Faye Langston; brother, Terry Carver; and many beloved nieces and nephews. She loved her family and friends dearly, and you were not allowed to leave her house hungry.
She loved to travel and had visited across the United States from San Francisco to Maine. She also loved dogs, cats, birds and squirrels, and none of those could leave her home hungry either.
A visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 27th, followed by funeral services at 11:00 a.m., at Smith - North Little Rock Funeral Home. Interment in Rest Hills Memorial Park.
