Glenda Sue Parks Ricks of Carlisle, Arkansas, passed away on Friday, August 25, 2017. She was born on August 25, 1939.
Glenda loved spending time with her family, she adored her grandkids and great-grandkids, shopping, flea-marketing, and just talking to everyone because she never met a stranger. She was a long-time member of the Hebron United Methodist Church and the Carlisle Pentecostal Church of God.
Glenda is survived by her mother, Nellie Parks, her children, Cindy Ricks Orton (Leo), Tammi Ricks McCool (Johnnie), and Craig Ricks (Pam); grandchildren, Miranda Schenebeck (Brian Hartle), Mica Kianetski (Bobby), Megan Halstead (Bobby), Tyler Schenebeck (Alison), and Britney Spencer; and great-grandchildren, Piper Schenebeck and Rook Hartle. She is also survived by her brother, Bobby (Sue) Parks and sister, Shirley (Joe) Harrison.
She was preceded in death by her father, Ralph Parks, her husband, Bobby Ricks, and great-grandson, Caden Ingle.
Family will receive friends Monday, August 28, 2017 from 6:00-8:00 p.m at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Funeral will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at Hebron United Methodist Church in Carlisle, Arkansas. Burial will follow at Walters Chapel Cemetery.
