GORDON LAWRENCE “LARRY” ANDERSON May 5, 1944 – March 31, 2026

Gordon Lawrence “Larry” Anderson, age 81, passed away on March 31, 2026, at his home in Sherwood, Arkansas. Born May 5, 1944, he departed this life on what would have been his father’s birthday.

Larry was formerly of Benton, Louisiana, and had been a resident of Arkansas since 2008. He was a member of Central Baptist Church in North Little Rock.

He graduated from Middle Tennessee State University in 1967, earning a degree in English and Physics. He began his career as an auto dealership mechanic before transitioning to a career with the United States Postal Service as an electronic technician, retiring in 2008.

Larry enjoyed bread-baking, building computers, restoring antique radios, and rescuing dogs. He was preceded in death by his parents, L.E. Anderson and Ellen Avery Carlton Anderson.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Anderson; daughter, Kacy Burge; grandchildren, Jack and Caroline Burge; siblings, Janet Miles, Bob Anderson, and Pam Nilsen; along with nieces, nephews, and many cousins.
