Greg Jones

Greg Jones, 47, passed away Friday, April 15, 2011. Greg was born on November 7, 1963 in Little Rock to John Paul Jones and Jewell Dean Howell Jones. He was the Vice President and member of the Board of Directors of Ozark National Life Insurance Company for over 20 years until the company sold. Greg loved golfing, hunting, fishing and was a great outdoorsman. He loved tournament bass fishing and won the Redman All American Tournament. Greg attended Central High School and UALR. He was a member and past president of the Southwest Rotary where he was a Paul Harris Fellow. Greg was an avid Razorback fan.
He is survived by his wife, Robin Jones, of Mayflower; father and step-mother, John Paul and Arlene Jones, of Little Rock; mother, Jewell Dean Jones of Little Rock; sister, Kimberly Jones of Maumelle; step-brother , Lance McAlister of Little Rock; step-sister, Jennifer Vogel of Bigelow; step-daughters, April Lewis and Kelsie Claussen of Mayflower and his Black Lab, Jet.
Funeral services will be held at Fellowship Bible Church, 1401 Kirk Rd, Little Rock, AR 72223 on Wednesday, April 20 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev David Bruns officiating. Visitation will be held on Tuesday evening April 19 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Little Rock Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Pulaski County Humane Society, 14600 Colonel Glenn Rd, Little Rock, AR 72210.
