Gregory Kent Miller, age 70, of North Little Rock, Arkansas, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on December 10th, 2025, following complications from multiple sclerosis. He was surrounded by the love of his family and friends as he made his transition to Heaven. Greg was born on July 9, 1955, in Alexandria, Louisiana, to Ralph Miller and Melba Dean Lanier Miller. He built a life marked by kindness, loyalty, deep faith, and devotion to those he loved.
Greg married the love of his life, Vicki Usery Miller, and together they shared 33 wonderful years of marriage. They enjoyed every part of life side by side—family, friends, laughter, and the simple moments that meant the most. Their life together was filled with joy, partnership, and unwavering support for one another.
Greg began his lifelong career in the grocery retail industry while still in high school, working for Kroger. He went on to spend many fulfilling years with Smitty’s Food Stores, which became one of the most formative and meaningful chapters of his professional life. In 1997, Greg and Vicki continued their journey together by operating their own store in Schwartz, Louisiana, combining their talents to serve their community in a way that brought them both great pride.
Later in life, Greg faced a diagnosis of multiple sclerosis with strength and grace. Though the illness eventually ended his working career, it never diminished his spirit or the joy he found in the things he loved. Greg had a deep passion for music, a love for motorcycles, and a natural talent for building things. Above all, Greg loved the Lord and shared his faith openly with everyone he met. His kindness, encouragement, and unwavering belief in God touched countless lives.
Greg is survived by his wife Vicki Miller of North Little Rock; daughter Sarah Mannon (Brandon) of Cabot, Arkansas; son Joseph Miller; grandson Moss Miller; granddaughter Emmalyn Mannon; sister Charlotte Harris; brother Mark Miller; many nieces and nephews; and in Greg’s own words, the best friend a guy could ever as for, Charles Ellis.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his stepfather Ed Gresham; and his brothers Ralph Miller, Gary Miller, and Mike Miller.
At the time of Greg’s passing, he made a meaningful contribution to Multiple Sclerosis Society research at Columbia University Medical, continuing his hope that future generations will benefit from advances in understanding and treating the disease.
Greg will be remembered for his warm spirit, strong faith, dedication to family, and the friendships he nurtured throughout his life. His presence made every gathering brighter, and his absence will be deeply felt by all who knew him.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff of Lonoke Health and Rehab for their compassionate care and continued support.
Visitation will begin at 12:00 PM, followed by a funeral at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, December 17, 2025 at Smith Sherwood Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Rest Hills Memorial Park.
