Gregory Alan Murray, 55, of Sherwood, passed away in his sleep on February 9, 2012. Greg was born on June 6, 1956 in Streator, Illinois to Edwin and DeAnn Murray. He loved life and especially his two children. His sisters know he died peacefully. He was always so happy go-lucky and so supportive of his children and family.
Preceded in death by his father, he is survived by his loving daughter, Katharine J. Murray and his son, Alexander G. Murray; his mother, DeAnn Murray; his sister, Cindy A. Moorman, brother-in-law, C.J. Moorman and nephews, Royce, Chad, Lance and Josiah Moorman, all of Sherwood; his sister, Christine L. Murray and niece, Breanna Murray of North Little Rock; good friends, Brandon Faxon, Mr. Cecil Robertson and Mr. Geneti Nemera, all of Sherwood; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 18 at 3:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church, 701 Country Club Rd. in Sherwood. Greg loved building and construction work. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Habitat for Humanity, 6700 S. University, Little Rock, AR 72209 (www.habitatpulaski.org)
