Gregory Lee Sanson

Listen to Obituary

With profound sadness, we announce the unexpected passing of Greg Sanson on October 5, 2026. Greg was 56 and deeply loved by his family, friends, and coworkers.

Greg was born April 12, 1970, to Tommy and Carolyn Sanson. He attended Enola school through seventh grade then moved to Conway, where he grew up. He played basketball for the Wampus Cats and graduated in 1988. He attended the University of Arkansas for one year then graduated from University of Central Arkansas with a degree in finance. Greg was a 2008 graduate of the LSU School of Banking.

After serving as a salesman and plant manager at Spirit Homes, Greg moved to a career in banking. He was named Centennial Bank’s Conway division president in 2015.

Greg served on the Arkansas State Police Foundation Board for the last ten years.

Greg made his home on the family farm, surrounded by other family farms, where the land and family were an important part of his life. He loved to cook for his friends, especially after a dove hunt. Steve and Jim were always close by whether helping cook or just keeping him entertained. We can’t mention all of Greg’s friends, because there are so many who loved him dearly and have special memories of the times they spent together

Greg is survived by his son, Kyler and wife Erica, and their children, Kace and Ellington. He is also survived by his two sisters, Connie Bollier (Thomas) and Laura

Sanson, niece Megan Eden (Andrew) and nephews Jordan Bollier (Emily) and Trey Hill. Greg also leaves behind a host of loving friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, and grandparents, Arch and Viola Sanson and Loyd and Marcena Woodward. Greg was saved and baptized at Conway Cowboy Church on August 20th 2017.

Services will be held at Conway Cowboy Church on Monday October 12th . Visitation will be from 10am to 12pm. Funeral service will begin after Visitation.

His loss will leave a large hole in many hearts. His love for family and friends was undeniable. His memory will be kept alive by everyone continuing to reminisce about the adventures that were shared by his friends. He was a good man and he is at peace now and for that we are thankful.

In lieu of flowers we ask that you consider making a donation in Greg's honor to the Boys & Girls Club of Faulkner County https://www.bgcfaulkner.org/ and/or to the Arkansas State Police Foundation https://www.aspfoundation.com/
