Gretchen K. Madison

Gretchen Kathryn Madison 98, of North Little Rock, left this world on November 8, 2022, to attend to her new garden with the Angels. She transitioned from her earthly body surrounded by family, and claimed her eternal body. Known for her love of Jesus, gardening, canning, crocheting, her famous dumplings, and pickles. She was loved by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her husband George Will Madison, parents Buster & Maude Moore, son William Lee Madison and wife Mary, two son-in-laws Kenny J. Clark, Johnnie L. Chance, and one grandson Claude Austin Clark.

She leaves behind her children Linda Chance of North Little Rock; Terry Crosby (Cyndy) Memphis, TN; Joe Madison (Pam) North Little Rock; Rhonda Gassaway (Steven) Beaver, AR; Regina Clark Berryville, AR; Sam Parsley (Todd) El Paso, AR; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Services officiated by Bro. Kenny Gardner, her “Mississippi son.”

Services will be held at Smith Sherwood Family Funeral Home, 7700 Hwy 107, Sherwood, AR 72120.

Visitation: Thursday, November 10th, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Life Celebration Service following the visitation, at 11:00 a.m. Graveside service at Bryant’s Cove Cemetery, Casa, AR, 2:00 p.m.
