Gunnar Chassells

Gunnar Scott Chassells, 17, of North Little Rock passed away November 24, 2017. He was born May 26, 2000 in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was a senior at North Little Rock High School and loved scuba diving, cheeseburgers and picking on his daddy. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his parents, Scott and Jodi Chassells; grandmother, Debby Smith; grandfather, Gary Lee Chassells; aunts, Jayme Gentry (Dustin) and Christina Black; uncles, Jeff Smith, Gary B. Chassells (Karen) and Jeff Chassells; and several cousins: Taylor Gentry, Stephanie Black, Kathryn Black, Wesley Black, Conner Black, David Chassells, Kelsea Chassells, Kyle Chassells, Kayla Chassells; his best friend Braden Walker; and his "four legged friends" Chloe, Star and Flash.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Harold Smith and Nancy and James Paulsen.
A celebration of Gunnar's life will be 10:30 a.m., Friday, December 1, 2017 at Smith - North Little Rock Funeral Home. A visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, November 30, 2017 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery.
