Gwendolyn Annette Ray Stickney, age 60, of Glenwood, passed away on Wednesday, December 3, 2025.

She was born on September 4, 1965 in Murfreesboro. Gwendolyn was the daughter of Darrell Gene Ray and Marilyn Louise Long Willingham. She is preceded in death by her father and her stepfather, Raymond Willingham.

Gwendolyn was Baptist in her faith. On September 2, 2000, she married the love of her life, Andrew. For many years she worked in home health, always putting others above herself. She loved quilting, puzzles, watching tv, and playing with her beloved pets. She graduated from Kirby High School in 1983. Gwendolyn was an amazing wife, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, and she will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Her heart was so large, she could fit the world in it. Although made of gold, it contained just the right amount of iron. She was a collector of strays, both pet and human, for she never wanted to see either go unloved. Her light shined so bright that even death could not extinguish it.

Gwendolyn is survived by her husband of 25 years, Andrew Stickney of Glenwood; her mother, Marilyn Willingham of Pearcy; her brother and sister-in-law, Chuck and Jana Ray of Kirby; her niece, Kaylee Ray Campbell of Walnut Ridge; her nephew and his wife, Dalton and Whitney Ray of Kirby; her three great-nephews, Beckett Haddon Campbell, and Raleigh Ray; and many loving extended family members and host of wonderful friends.
