Hannah Elizabeth Smith

Hannah Elizabeth Smith, age 21, passed from this life on June 16, 2022, at University of Texas M.D. Anderson in Houston, Texas. She was born on June 29, 2000 to Brian and Kristen Smith. 

Hannah was a 2018 graduate of Bismarck High School and was currently entering her senior year at Henderson State University majoring in Nursing.

Hannah was an active member of Caney Missionary Baptist Church, where she sang in the choir and worked in the church nursery. Hannah loved children, card games, movies, cheering on the Arkansas Razorbacks, and buying gifts for her family and friends. 

Hannah was also a member of MBSF, where she was on the worship team. Hannah loved and served the Lord whole-heartedly; her strong faith was evident to all who encountered her. She was a true blessing to everyone she met. 

She is survived by her loving parents; her brother, Blake Smith; her paternal grandparents, Bill and Rebecca Smith, of Bismarck; her maternal grandmother, Christine Sanders, of Caney; her uncle, Paul Smith (Jacynda, Cullen, Conner), of Glenwood; her uncle, Paul Sanders, of Caney, whose wife, Judy, greeted Hannah in Heaven; a supportive extended family; a loving church family; and a multitude of friends.

Visitation is scheduled for Sunday, June 19, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Caney Missionary Baptist Church. 

Services are scheduled for Monday, June 20, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Caney Missionary Baptist Church. 

Burial will be in Caney Cemetery. 

Pallbearers will be Caleb Anderson, Cade Beckwith, Ethan Clapp, Clayton Robbins, Carson Smith, Conner Smith and Cullen Smith.

Memorials can be made to Caney Missionary Baptist Church.
