Harold M. Love

Harold M. Love aged 91, passed away peacefully on July 11, 2025 in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was born on September 28, 1933 and native of Tennessee. Harold was the epitome of hard work, dedication, and love.

As a drafted man of the Armed Forces on May 13, 1953; Harold served many years protecting his country. While serving, Harold received the National Defense Medal for bravery.

Harold had an adventurous spirit and boundless enthusiasm will live in the hearts of those who loved him. Mr. Love was a sergeant at the Compton Police Department for twelve years. Harold was a school teacher for Cajon High School, where he taught history for 19 years. He also served as a Counselor within this school as well. He was passionate about health and wellness. Harold competed in over 30 body building competitions in Southern California setting world records for many of them. Harold was also a black belt in Martial Arts throughout his life.

Harold was a faithful husband to Mary Love for 28 years, a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather. Harold' s legacy is one of integrity, resilience, and love.

A funeral service will be held at 9:30 AM on Wednesday, July 16, 2025 at Smith Sherwood Funeral Home (7700 Hwy 107) with burial following at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery at 12:00 PM.
