Harold Lynn Nance

Harold Nance, 95, of Sherwood, AR received his heavenly reward on May 19, 2026. Harold was born in Beedeville, AR in 1931 to Len & Callie Nance. After High School, Harold proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. Shortly after his Naval commission ended, Harold entered barber college in Little Rock, which led to a lengthy career (almost 60 years) cutting hair in North Little Rock and Sherwood.

Harold also enjoyed playing tennis until age and health interfered. If you lived in Central Arkansas during the 60's, 70's, 80's or 90's, there is a very good chance that Harold either cut your hair, or played tennis with you, or both. Harold loved his family deeply. Especially his beloved wife of 69 years (Sue), but he loved his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ even more. He left this world proud of being the oldest member of the Sylvan Hills Church of Christ. Between Church, barbering, and tennis he touched many, many lives in a positive way and leaves behind a vast legacy of friends who loved him.

Harold was preceded in death by his parents, Len and Callie Nance. He is survived by his beloved wife, Sue, his son, Kelly & daughter-in-law, Beth. He is also survived by, his brother Lowell & nephew, Melvin. And by 2 grandsons, Kyle (and his wife Olivia), and Jay. He also leaves behind a multitude of cousins and friends, all of whom loved him dearly.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Sylvan Hills Church of Christ, specifically the Eagle Creek Retirement Village, which Harold fondly referred to as Geezerville.
