Elsie Lambert

Elsie Lambert, age 82, passed away on April 10th, surrounded by her family. She was born on October 9, 1943, in Amity, AR, to Clinton and Lola Lambert. She is preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Mary Alice Massey, and her two brothers, Ray and Dee L. Lambert.

She worked for many years as a cook at Glenwood Fish Nest, where she made many lifelong friends who she thought the world of. She believed in simple acts of kindness, done quietly. She had a sense of humor like no other and a spunky personality. Above all, she loved being"Nanny" to so many.

She is survived by her daughters, Twyla and Hayes Boyd of Dierks, Susann and Tommy Lambert of Amity, and a bonus daughter, Lisa Harrison of Ponder, TX. Her grandchildren, Jaydin Cotter, Jordyn Cotter(Nic Garcia), and Aaron Lambert, all of Amity, AR, three sisters-in-law, Jewel Lambert of Garland, TX, Leta Hopper of Amity, AR, Lavola(Danny) Wisenhunt of Caddo Gap, AR, one brother-in-law, George(Virginia) Hopper of Kirby, AR; and a number of nieces, nephews, and friends.

The family would like to give a special thank you to Glenwood Fish Nest for all of their love and support.

Cremation will be under the direction of Smith Funeral Home in Glenwood. A visitation will be held at a later date.
