Hazel Marie Roberts, 97, of North Little Rock passed away Tuesday, July 2, 2013. She was born to the late Lottie Mae House Kuhl and Henry Kuhl on October 12, 1915 in North Little Rock. She was a graduate of North Little Rock High School. Mrs. Roberts was a member of First Christian Church of Sherwood. She was a cafeteria manager at Rose City Elementary School, Den Mother for Boy Scouts, devoted Sunday School teacher and worked with her husband, the late C. Lee Roberts, at North Little Rock Sewing Center.
She is survived by her son, Henry Lee Roberts and his wife, Carol of the Republic of Macedonia; daughter-in-law, Susie Roberts of North Little Rock; close family members, Grady and Linda Harvell of North Little Rock, Jim and Susan Hickman of North Little Rock; grandchildren, Alyson Frye (Phillip) of Pennsylvania, Todd Lee Roberts (Jessie) of California, Jonathan Roberts of California, Michael Roberts of Van Buren and Tracy Davenport (Brad) of Little Rock; great-grandchildren, Logan Roberts, Kinley Davenport, Ava Davenport and Miles Davenport; nephew, Dave Heard (Janice); and two great-nieces. She was preceded in death by her husband, C. Lee Roberts; son, L.M. "Mickey" Roberts; sister, Laura Heard; and her brother, Herbert Kuhl.
A visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, followed by funeral services at 11:00 a.m., at First Christian Church of Sherwood. Burial will be in Edgewood Memorial Park. Arrangements by North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel, a Smith Family Funeral Home.
