Hazel Ruth Sanders

Hazel Ruth Brown Sanders, 87 of Conway, AR passed away Monday, August 4, 2025. She was born on June 13, 1938, in El Paso County, Texas to Richard and Ollie Marrs Brown.

Hazel retired from civil service as a payroll manager. She enjoyed spending time with family and spoiling her granddaughters. Through the years her interests included playing cards, working crossword puzzles, genealogy research, searching for the end of the internet, and going out with her grief support group friends.

She is survived by son and daughter-in-law Sid and Janet Sanders of Conway, son Greg Sanders of Ozark and daughter and son-in-law Jerri and Brian Arnold of Conway. Five granddaughters; Janae Winkelman (Tyler), Krysta Heath (Matt), Jennifer Brown (Cory), Jordan Sanders, and McKenna Arnold and nine great grandchildren; Maryn, Jude, Hudson, Hadleigh, Henry, Oliver, Harrison, Eleanor and Rhys.

Hazel was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband, Jerry Allen Sanders, and her siblings; including her brothers Rubin, James and Harold, and sisters Annie and Ruby.

A graveside service for Hazel will be held on August 11, 2025, at Bluff Cemetery in Springdale, Arkansas, starting at 1:00 PM.
