Hazel Womble

Hazel Eddie Womble was born November 16, 1937 to the late Robert Lee Davis and Cassie Evans Davis.  Hazel passed away July 26, 2021.  She was a graduate of Jacksonville High School and worked various jobs through the years including Timex, paper routes and working as a security guard.  Her most cherished role was being wife and mother.

Survivors include her husband of 61 years, Charles Womble; children:  Sheila Cobb (Kevin), Karen Quarles (Marvin) and Charles “Rusty” Womble, Jr. (Susan); 17 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren; and a sister Shirley Laisure.

Hazel was preceded in death by sons:  Robert Chaney and John David Womble; and siblings: Minnie Wilson and L.C. Davis.

Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM, followed by the funeral at 2:00 PM, Thursday July 29, 2021 at Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home. Burial will be at Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
