Helen Frances Daniels of North Little Rock died Sunday August 6th, 2017. She was born in Mena, AR to the late William Lee and Mellie Mae Beauchamp Pannell. Helen was preceded in death by her husband Richard Daniels in 1973, and her constant companion, friend, and pet, "Lady".
Survivors include her nieces, Esther Payne of Hatboro, Pennsylvania, and Suzette Cullinson of Leonardstown, Maryland; her cousin Mary Alice Head of Mena, AR., and Christine Lees of Waldron, AR. She is also survived by her dear friends Evelyn Harper and Karen Murtha, her sorority sisters of Beta Sigma Phi, Mu Master Chapter, and the "Lunch Bunch", Jill Wiesner, Nell House, Michelle Hudson, Ruby Gilpatrick, Susan Tyrrell, and Peggy Wood.
Helen was a medical transcriptionist who transcribed for 27 doctors all at the same time; was a member of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, the Lakewood United Methodist Church, and a true die-hard Razorback fan.
A special thanks to the staff at Fox Ridge who loved, encouraged, and comforted Helen during her stay.
Funeral services to celebrate Helen's life will be held 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 9th, at Smith-North Little Rock Funeral Home (1921 Main St.) with visitation one hour prior to services from 12-1:00 p.m. Burial will be in Rest Hills Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to any animal shelter of choice.
