Helen B. Freeman

Helen B. Yarbrough Freeman, age 88 of Little Rock, went to live with Jesus on May 16th, 2025. She was born on September 19th, 1936.

She is preceded in death by her parents Trenton and Mary Yarbrough, two brothers; Truman and Johnnie Yarbrough and her oldest son Roger Freeman.

She is survived by her other four children; Dennis Freeman (Diane) from Little Rock, Alan Freeman (Scherall) from Fort Smith, Connie Freeman-Hinson of Mablevale and Jodi Freeman from Carrollton, Texas. Six grandchildren, Selena, Heather (Matt), and Kelly from Little Rock. Devon (Chad) from California, Skyler (Stefani) from Idaho, and Kelan from California. Six great-grandchildren, Corey (Ty’onna) from North Little Rock, Rayea (Kaleb) from Bryant, Gauge and Lilah from Litle Rock, Jaxon from Kansas and Terryn from Mablevale, two great-great grandchildren Riverlynn and Paxton from Bryant plus bonus granddaughters, Samantha (Kyle) and Taylor (Amy) all from Fort Smith.

Momma had so many hobbies and was amazingly talented at every last one of them. She love to fish, playing horseshoes which she won championships every year at company picnics. Momma also has trophies for bowling, softball and five trophies for dirt track racing!

Momma played multiple musical instruments by ear both at church and at home, her five children which she dedicated her life to provide for. Because of her devotion all five of her children graduated high school. In turn all five of her children proudly watched her walk across the stage to receive her GED diploma.

She loved all her grandbabies and bounced every one of them on her knees while singing to them. Above all she held a strong her faith in Jesus Christ. She was a member of Cole Mission Assembly of God.

After long years of working all sorts of jobs Momma retired from AGL as a soldering technician.
