Helen Glynn, 98, a resident of Presbyterian Village, died July 28, 2009 after a brief stay at Arkansas Hospice. Miss Glynn, the daughter of Patrick Joseph and Mattie Seay Glynn, was a former bookkeeper and legal secretary who worked in Little Rock, Chicago and Washington D.C. Upon retiring and returning to Little Rock, Miss Glynn lived at Quapaw Towers, where she also served as a part-time bookkeeper.
She was an avid reader and bridge player, enjoyed travel and especially loved hosting family member and friends wherever she lived. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Little Rock.
Miss Glynn was born in Warren but grew up in Little Rock. She is preceded in death by her parents and four sisters, Norene Glynn, Dorothy Rhodes, Martha Brown and Mary Rhodes. Miss Glynn is survived by a nephew and six nieces and their families.
The family would like to thank Arkansas Hospice for the excellent and loving care they provided Aunt Helen.
