Helen (Schmidt) Ramsey, 77, of North Little Rock, passed away Monday, February 16, 2009. She was born September 4, 1931 in Pulaski County to Herman O. and Carrie (Garvin) Schmidt. Mrs. Ramsey was a member of Sylvan Hills United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Robin Ramsey; two grandchildren Rachel and Zachary Ramsey; a sister, Erma Jean Schmidt; two brothers, Bob and Carolyn Schmidt all of North Little Rock and Kenneth and Linda Schmidt of Magnolia; numerous nieces and nephews; and other family members and friends. Mrs. Ramsey was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Tom Ramsey; and a brother, Herman ?Sonny? Schmidt.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, 909 West 2nd Street, Little Rock, Arkansas 72201.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Sylvan Hills United Methodist Church. Entombment will be in Rest Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main, 758-1170. Online obituary and guest register at www.nlrfh.com.
