Helen Janet Burch Ward, age 85, of Arkadelphia, passed away Thursday, December 1, 2016 in Hot Springs. She was born August 4, 1931 in Arkadelphia. Janet was a member of Second Baptist Church in Arkadelphia for several years and continued to worship there every Sunday even though her health was declining.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Bill Ward, her son, Michael Dean Ward and her brother, Charles Burch.
Survivors include her sister-in-law, Joan Karber of California and very special friend, Jessie Williams of Arkadelphia.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm Sunday, December 4th at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home with Stan Parris officiating. Burial will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 1:00 pm Sunday until service time.
