Henrietta Gilliam Pennington, age 95, of Dalark died Sunday, August 8, 2010. She was a Methodist, a homemaker, and retired cattle rancher. She was preceded in death by her husband Odus Pennington.
Survivors are a daughter, Gwen Diemer and husband Dale, two granddaughters, Katherine Diemer and Tracy Teer and husband Jerry, one great-grandson, Jared Teer, a special nephew, Larry Pennington and wife, Gail, and two special nieces, Paula Mounts and husband Jim, and Marian Hillman.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday at the Ruggles - Wilcox Funeral Home in Arkadelphia. Following a private graveside service, a memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday in the Dalark United Methodist Church in Dalark.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials to the Humane Society of Clark County, Box 435, Arkadelphia, 71923; the Atchley Cemetery Association, 2470 N. Hwy 7, Arkadelphia; or the Rock Springs Cemetery Association, 572 Palmetto Rd., Sparkman, AR, 71763.
