Henry Bernard “Hank” Schulte, 94, born on March 4, 1929, to late Clem and Annie Schulte, in New Blaine, AR, went to be with the Lord on January 8, 2024, in Little Rock.

He served in the United States Navy in the Korean War. He was fast learner and a hard worker. Hank retired as a rate clerk from Southwestern Transportation Co. (Cotton Belt Railroad), after many years of service to the railroad.

He was also a member of Our Lady of Holy Souls Catholic Church. His Catholic faith and his family meant everything to him. Hank never missed an opportunity to help a family member out.

He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Amelia Wenger, Katherine Anhalt, William Schulte, Joseph Schulte, Sylvan Schulte, Theresa Byrne, Francis Filamond, and Louis Schulte.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years Carole Schulte; daughter, Somers Piazza (Ross Eugene); grandchildren, Samuel Henry Piazza (Olivia) and Lillian Elisabeth Adney (Stephen); great-grandchildren, Oliver Gordon, Sylvia Adney, and Helen Adney; along with his beloved nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends. He cherished his weekly visits from Deacon John Hall, whom he considered family.

The family wants to give a special thank you to the heroic nurses and staff of Parkway Village and Baptist Hospice, especially Henry’s nurse Kitty, for their loving care.
