Hilda Bryant Hill was born November 7, 1924 to Marshall and Louisa Howelton Bryant. She was a graduate of Manuel Training School in Muskogee, Ok. She was also a graduate of Roosevelt University in Chicago, Il, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree.

Hilda retired from the University of Central Arkansas where she served as the Dean of Students, to care for her mother-in-law. During her retirement she became a Baptist hospice volunteer, a volunteer at Conway Regional Hospital where she served on the liaison committee. Additionally, Hilda became a trained pastoral care participant at Baptist Hospital, and she participated in pastoral care services at Conway Regional Hospital. She was also a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies’ Auxiliary.

Hilda was a proud member of Peace Lutheran Church for many years.

She was called home to Christ on September 23, 2025.

She leaves to mourn her a sister Rose, stepdaughter Robin, seven grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and a host of family and friends who will remember her for her kind heart, her patience and her love of Christ.
