Howard D. McBurnett, 85, of North Little Rock, passed away Thursday, January 10, 2008. He was born March 1, 1922 to the late John D. and Leila McBurnett. He was preceded in death by a sister Alta Jackson. He served his country in the United States Army in World War II. Mr. McBurnett was a member of First Pentecostal Church of North Little Rock.
Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Majie McBurnett; three daughters, Cheryl Looper (Danny) of North Little Rock, Jennifer Bridges of Cabot, and Tonya Harris (Don) of Scott; one sister, Regina Clements of North Little Rock; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Monday at The First Pentecostal Church of North Little Rock with Rev. Joel N. Holmes officiating. Burial will be in Rest Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Sunday at North Little Rock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 1921 Main, 758-1179. Online obituary and guest register at www.nlrfh.com.
