Ina Jean Grant Standridge, age 81, of Conway, Arkansas, passed peacefully into the arms of her Savior, surrounded by her family. Born November 25, 1944, in the back room of her parents’ gas station and grocery store in the tiny community of Bumblebee, Arkansas, Ina’s life was a testament to love, faith, and consistently “showing up.”
She was the cherished daughter of Calvert and Gladys (Wright) Grant, both of whom preceded her in death. Raised with a strong work ethic and a heart for serving others, she spent most of her career in banking, insurance, and real estate although she started her career as a licensed beautician with her own shop. In fact, as of today, her Insurance, Real Estate, and Beautician’s licenses are all active and current.
In 2018, she took on a new role that brought her great joy—serving as the Travel Club Director for First Service Bank in Conway/Greenbrier—where she formed lasting friendships and created unforgettable experiences for her fellow travelers. She continued working faithfully until October of 2025, when her illness made it impossible to do so. She described it as “the best job of my life,” and she absolutely cherished all of those with whom she worked.
Ina was a devoted and loving wife to her late husband of 61 years, James Earl Standridge, whom she now rejoins in eternal rest. Their marriage was a model of faithfulness and partnership, grounded in love of God, family, and each other.
She was a nurturing and steady presence in the lives of her children, Michael (Ramona) Standridge of Greenbrier, Jeff (Lori) Standridge of Conway, and Angela (Shawn) Moss of Greenbrier.
She delighted in her grandchildren, Rustin Standridge, Fisher Standridge, Michelle Hamilton (Josh Wilson), Katie (Dylan) Cruz, Anna (Spencer) Prewitt, Hannah (Caleb) Wood, Haleigh Moss, Hunter Moss, and in her nine great-grandchildren, pouring into them with joy, wisdom, and a gentle spirit. She was looking forward with great joy to welcoming the addition of two more “greats” in May of this year.
Ina’s deep well of love extended beyond her family. She was a faithful sister, loyal friend, and a radiant example of grace to all who knew her. Known for her warm smile, quiet confidence, and sense of humor, she carried herself with humility and an enduring sense of purpose. Whether planning a trip, encouraging a friend, or caring for her husband in his later years, Ina did all things with love.
A woman of unwavering faith, she was a longtime member of Center Church in Conway, where she found strength and fellowship in her walk with Christ. Her lasting legacy is one of a life well lived, a family well loved, and a faith well kept. She will be sorely missed by all who called her family or friend.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Center Church, Conway in her memory.
