Irene Prince, age 73 of Bismarck died Friday, October 20, 2006 at the Baptist Medical Center in Arkadelphia. She was born June 14, 1933 in Garland County, AR the daughter of the late Herbert Monroe and Hazel Irene Bivens Veazey. She was a mother and homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, Ken Prince; four sons, Mike Godwin and wife, Darlene, Eddie Godwin and wife, Geneva all of Bismarck, Todd Prince and wife, Marcie of Caney, Mike Prince and wife, Shannon of Arkadelphia; four daughters, Linda Donahou of Hot Springs, Deborah Hathcoat and Mike, Shirley Melton and Roger all of Bismarck, Lisa Garrett and Billy of Caddo Valley; two brothers, Donnie Veazey and wife, Jan of Cabot, Marvin Veazey and wife, Patricia of Hot Springs; one sister, Deloris Coulter and husband, Randy of Hamburg; 17 grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Monday, Oct. 23, 2006 in Ruggles-Wilcox Chapel. Interment will be in Oak Bower Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM Sunday, October 22, 2006 at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Richard Bryan Caldwell, Kenny Wayne Godwin, Daniel Eric Boswell, Christopher Mark McCarroll, Jimmy Dale Godwin and Amber Beth Garrett.
