Iris Wyche

Iris Chalon Wyche, age 76, of Ward was born to Clarence and Alethea Trussell on October 20, 1937 and she departed for heaven Friday November 15, 2013. Chalon fully lived and loved the role of "Mother" and "Grandmother". She was a member of the Hwy 367 Church of Christ in Austin and looked forward to the weekly Bible studies.

Chalon is survived by her husband of 57 years, Dale Wyche; sons, Ronny Wyche of Ward, Gerald Wyche and wife, Tracey of Sapulpa, Oklahoma and daughter, Donna Kay Abshure and husband, Dale of Ward; seven grandchildren; seven great great grandchildren and two on the way; sister, Donna Raney of Farmington, New Mexico; and her treasured four legged companion, Jake the dog.

She is preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Sharlyn Kay Clinton.

Memorials in her honor may be made to Hwy 367 Church of Christ, 2769 Hwy 367 N., Austin, Arkansas 72007.


Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday, at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Funeral will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 19, 2013, at Westbrook Funeral Home, with burial in Meadowbrook Memorial Garden Cemetery.
