J. D. Sims, 82, of Lonoke, passed away Tuesday, May 15, 2007.
He was a member of Lonoke Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Sims; three daughters, Sherry Marie (Eric) Evans of Lonoke, Vickie Renee Moyer of Scott and Donna (Garry) Nolan of Sherwood; a son, Adam (Laurie) Sims of Lonoke; six granddaughters; and two grandsons. Mr. Sims was preceded in death by his parents; a brother; a sister; and a grandson, Caleb Sims.
Memorials may be made to the Lonoke Baptist Church Benevolence Fund, 406 W Front Street, Lonoke, Arkansas 72086.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday at Lonoke Baptist Church. Burial will be in Rest Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main, 758-1170 and from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. Friday at Lonoke Baptist Church.
