Jack D. "Mad Jack" Spears

Jack D. "Mad Jack" Spears, age 68, of Amity, passed away on Monday, February 12, 2018. He was born on July 21, 1949, in Amity, the son of Henry Spears and Carrie Dafford Spears. On November 1, 1978, he was married to Donna Partee. He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Robert Spears and James Spears. He was a U.S. Navy veteran, having served in the Vietnam War. He loved God, his country, hunting and he always enjoyed driving to the highest point of the mountains. He is survived by his loving wife, Donna Spears of Amity; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Charles I. and Patricia Spears and Gary B. and Debbie Spears, all of Kirby; one sister and brother-in-law, Julie A. and Terry Simmons of Kirby; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members; and a host of wonderful friends.
