Jack Ellis, 70, of Little Rock, passed away July 9, 2012. He was a member of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves and retired in 2005 from the floor covering industry.
Preceded in death by his parents, Jewell J. and Mabel J. Cobb Ellis, he is survived by his wife of 51 years, Janie S. Ellis; sons, Brad Ellis (Kelly) of Ft. Knox, Kentucky, Mark Ellis (Debbie) of Bryant and Danny Ellis (Heather) of Cape Coral, Florida; brother, Larry Ellis (Grace Ann) of Little Rock; and grandchildren, Justin Ellis, Peyton Ellis, Brooks Ellis and John Lawrence Ellis.
Services will be held Saturday, July 14 at 4:00 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.), officiated by Dr. Bob Dunaway. Memorials may be made to CARE for Animals, P.O. Box 7604, Little Rock, AR 72217.
