Listen to Obituary

Born on August 1, 2003, Jackson was a beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend whose life left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him.

Jackson graduated from Benton High School as part of the Class of 2021, where he proudly played football for the Benton Panthers. After graduation, he pursued work in the electrical field and became an apprentice electrician. He was passionate about his work, hardworking, and always eager to learn, grow, and try new things.

An avid outdoorsman, Jackson loved hunting, fishing, mountain biking, sports, and spending time outdoors. He had a deep love for his family and friends and was known for being inspiring, uplifiting, and committed to helping the people he cared about. Jackson brought strength, kindness, and encouragement to those around him, and his presence in the community will be deeply missed.

For those who grew up with him, Jackson was more than a friend. He was like a brother, a person whose loyalty, laughter, and love became a permanent part of their lives and families.

Jackson is survived by his mother, Lauren East; his father, Josh East; and his brother, Austin Drewry.

On his mother's side, Jackson is survived by his grandparents, Mark and Charlotte Vanderpool; his aunt, Chandler Vanderpool; his cousins: Jewels, Anderson, and Nathan; and his honorary family, Mini Taneja and Ryan Taneja.

On his father's side, Jackson is survived by his grandparents, Pam St. Claire, Roy St. Claire, and Dwain East; his uncle, Zach East; his aunt, Rebecca East; and his cousins, Tynes and Madison.

He is also survived by many other family members, friends, and loved ones who will always cherish his memory.

Jackson loved his family deeply, worked hard, lived fully, and carried a spirit that encouraged others. His memory will continue to live on through the stores, laughter, lessons, and love he shared with those fortunate enough to know him.
