Jacob Ridgley

On September 11, 2024, Jacob Ridgley was healed when he entered into the loving arms of Jesus. Jacob was an amazing young man with a heart of gold. He was born May 24th, 1997 in Sacramento California to Andy and Shannon Ridgley and was the first born of two children. Jake took on the role as big brother to his little sister Nicole “Bri” with a full heart.

Jake played football in grade school, which was a great passion for him. He was also a graduate of Benton High School in 2016. Jake was kind, loving and was always rooting for the underdog. Despite his hardship, his heart only grew bigger, never bitter.

Jacob loved his family and Jesus above all else. He enjoyed passing the time watching UFC and WWE, cheering on the Razorbacks alongside his dad and Paw, as well as also cheering for his favorite local team, the Panthers. Jake did all of that while enjoying his favorite food, chicken, which coined him the nickname “Chicken Hawk”.

Jake is survived by his dad, Andy; mom, Shannon; sister, Nicole “Bri”; Grandmother, “Dab” Wan;  and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by his Paw, Raymond “Babe”; his Maw, Twila; his Papa Don, his uncle Robert “Bob”; and his uncle Jerry.

In celebration of Jake’s life, a memorial service will be held at The Church at Benton, 6604 Congo Road, Benton, AR on Sunday, September 22, 2024 at 3:00pm.

In addition to flowers, tribute donations can be made in Jacob’s name (Jacob Ridgley) at  Parkinson’s.org.

Although Jake may have left this earth to join his Lord and Savior in eternity, he will live on in our hearts and minds as the sweet and fun-loving person he was to his core.
